Journey - Aventurine Bracelet Set

Creative Notes:

So my thought process was an interesting one for this word. Initially, I thought of journey as a physical one such as in travelling. And while I was trying to think how I would depict that I kept coming back to more of an inner journey. A representation of the journey I’ve been on the last year or so in self acceptance. It’s an emotional one of digging deep, challenging myself and pulling out all those feelings I’ve pushed down for no one to see, not even myself.

Green Aventurine is a beautiful gem associated with love, compassion, and balance. It’s a comforter and heart healer. This powerful gemstone helps to clear negative emotions and promote a sense of inner peace. It’s an excellent companion for those seeking emotional balance and a more harmonious life. I knew right away that I wanted to use this gemstone.

I made a pair of bracelets that I can use as a talisman, a touch stone to remind me of all the work I’ve done and will continue to do as I continue to grow. I know now that I can be the biggest supporter of myself.

For this duo of bracelets I used 6mm faceted Aventurine beads, sterling silver cubes and a round spacer bead. 🤍

These bracelets are part of a project I did to get me through the winter of 2024.  A daily Creative Project based on a published word prompt. It was an incredible way to wake up my creativity in a typically dreary time of year. It became such a joy to stretch my creativity, try new things and even go back to some of my older designs.
